Intro to Playing Modded Minecraft

Minecraft is the best selling video game of all time.

A lot of this is owed to its versatility. As an open world sandbox game, people are free to make their own goals and play with different play styles.

In the game's creative mode, the player can move about freely in 3d space, and can use any mount of any block to create voxelized 3d artwork or build villages and towns. There are mods and tools that are geared towards creative mode; one of the oldest and most widely known is the world editor MCEdit.
